Congratulations Nick and Kelsy

When this bride and groom said they wanted their reception to be a great party, they weren’t kidding! The dance floor was hopping all night long, to all kinds of songs.  They wanted to have fun and they got it!  At one point, a groomsman was sitting on another guy’s shoulders, dancing.  Then, Kelsy was lifted in the air like the famous scene from Dirty Dancing.  This group came to party! To add to the fun, we had our dance floor lighting.  And, our photo booth was set up for some great pictures.

The colors for this wedding were navy, burgundy and gold, and the room was beautiful.  The tables had floor-length ivory cloths, and were surrounded by gold Chiavari chairs.  The high/low centerpieces alternated between tall vases with large arrangements of ivory and burgundy flowers, and lower arrangements of the same flowers.  Each place setting had a gold charger and a navy napkin in a gold napkin ring.  There was a rectangular long table down the center of the room for the wedding party, and two smaller rectangular tables for guests.  The room was gorgeous!

Kelsy’s three-tiered, stacked cake was so pretty.  It was all white with dot patterns on each layer.  It was accented with burgundy and cream roses.  It was very elegant.  Nick’s two-tiered, stacked groom’s cake was white with chocolate ganache dripping down the sides.  A Texas Tech logo was on the top tier.  For an extra sweet treat, each guest received a cookie with the couple’s names on it.

After a great night of fun, the dancing came to an end.  The newlyweds ran through a shower of bubbles, got in a limo and headed off to their new life.  Congratulations Nick and Kelsy!
