Congratulations Jason and Melissa

This Ceremony and Reception featuring shades of pink and purple was so pretty!  For the Ceremony, the Bridal Party wore beautiful floor-length purple dresses while the Groomsmen matched with their purple ties.  There was the cutest little Ring Bearer who ran down the aisle carrying a sign that said, “Uncle Jason, here comes your Bride.”  The Ceremony backdrop consisted of white sheer fabric with lights behind it.  The ceiling of the ballroom was also draped with white sheer fabric and lights.

The décor for the Reception was equally beautiful.  The tables had floor-length navy satin tablecloths topped with clear glass chargers with gold trim.  There were three different styles of centerpieces: tall gold stands with floral arrangements, short arrangements of flowers, and lanterns with small floral arrangements on each side.

There was also a wine bottle cork theme running through the wedding.  The lanterns that lined the Ceremony aisle were filled with corks and candles.  The escort cards were all tucked into cork holders.  Sitting on the bar was the word “bar” was spelled out in corks.  The glow sticks for the exit were in tall glass vases filled with corks.  Even the sign on the escort card table was mounted on a frame of corks.

Melissa’s all white four-tiered wedding cake matched the elegance of the evening, as it had different designs on each tier and the couple’s monogram on one of them.  Jason’s red velvet cake was in the shape of Texas and the top was decorated to look like the Texas flag.  There were two small cowboy boots sitting on the top.

I have to mention how fun this crowd was: from the first dance song to the last, the dance floor was packed!  But the night had to come to an end with the Last Dance.  The Newlyweds then ran through lines of guests waving glow sticks before heading off to their new life together.  Congratulations Jason and Melissa!

This wedding featuring the colors of blush and gold was so pretty.  In the Reception, the tables had floor-length white tablecloths with gold sequined runners.  There were matching gold sequined tablecloths on the two cake tables to tie it all together.  The centerpieces featured white and blush flowers, which matched Jamie’s and her bridesmaids’ bouquets.  The white garden chairs surrounding the tables had blush pink ties.  The white Ceremony chairs matched the colors as well, as the chairs on the aisle had baby’s breath tied onto them with gold ribbon.

Jamie’s three tiered cake matched the colors of the perfectly, as it had a blush pink bottom tier, a gold middle tier and another blush pink top tier.  The couple’s initials in gold made up the topper on this elegant cake.  Frankie’s strawberry flavored cake was cool, as it was all blue with Superman’s logo on the top.

After an evening with lots of laughter, dancing, and an impromptu Conga line snaking around the room, the night came to a close with the Last Dance.  The Newlyweds then ran through a shower of bubbles before getting in their car and driving off to their new life as a married couple.  Congratulations Frankie and Jamie!

Congratulations Carlos and Jessica

This wedding Reception, featuring the color purple, brought us to a beach-front venue which was perfect for the Memorial Day weekend.  The long rectangular tables had floor-length ivory linens with centerpieces of white and purple flowers.  The Bridal Party wore knee-length purple dresses while the Groomsmen wore gray suits with purple bow ties.

The three-tiered white wedding cake matched the purple theme, as it had air-brushed purple designs on the bottom tier and purple and white flowers cascading down the front.  It was so elegant!  When the cake was served, they brought out assorted fruit with chocolate fondue, which the guests loved.  As a special treat, later in the evening sliders were brought out for the guests to enjoy.

There was one aspect of this wedding I hadn’t seen before: there was a mailbox with assorted post cards next to it.  Guests filled out post cards with words of advice or well wishes, and then dropped them in the mailbox.  During the course of the next year, someone will occasionally mail a postcard to Jessica and Carlos.  What a fun way to relive your wedding during your first year as Newlyweds!

After a fun night of dancing, even times when the dance floor spilled over onto the carpet, the night came to a close with the Last Dance.  Jessica and Carlos then, instead of doing a formal exit, stayed in the ballroom bid farewell to their guests.  Congratulations Carlos and Jessica!

Congratulations TJ and Megan

This wedding reception was over the top with elegance and glamour!   The colors for the day were pink and gray, and they were carried out beautifully.  The tables had floor length white linens and were surrounded by black Chiavari chairs.  Each place setting had black napkin wrapped in a bling band.  There were three types of centerpieces on the tables: tall arrangements of assorted pink flowers dripping with jewels, shorter arrangements of pink flowers, or tall candelabras with jewels.  Each table also had an elegantly printed menu card with a bling accent.  To   give the whole ballroom a beautiful glow, we had amber Uplights placed around the room highlighting the walls.  For the final dramatic touch, we had a GOBO monogram projected onto the dance floor.

Megan’s white cake matched the drama of the evening with its four stacked tiers.  Each tier had white designs on it and the topper consisted of a sign saying, “Mr. and Mrs.” In lieu of a groom’s cake there were platters of cake balls that everyone loved.  For another special treat that was a big hit, sliders and French fries were brought out later in the evening for a late night snack.  And to top that off, there was a huge candy buffet with all kinds of sweet treats for the guests.

When it came time for dancing, this crowd was great!  They danced from the first song to the last, having a blast.  Our dance floor lighting added to the atmosphere out on the floor, as well as the glow necklaces that were provided to the guests.  To keep everyone having fun, there were baskets of flip flops in assorted sizes and sunglasses with TJ’s and Megan’s names and wedding date on them.  This bride and groom thought of everything!

After a great night of dancing and fun, the evening came to a close with the Last Dance.  Following an awesome sparkler exit, the Newlyweds jumped into the hotel’s car and headed off to their new life as a married couple.   Congratulations TJ and Megan!
