Congratulations Casey and Cindy

This Ceremony and Reception celebrated the marriage of one of the sweetest couples ever!  The colors for the day were blush and slate blue.  The tables had floor-length ivory cloths with ivory embroidered overlays.  The centerpieces were white antique lanterns holding pillar candles.  Votive candles surrounded each centerpiece.  Each place setting had a charger topped with an ivory napkin.  To tie everything together with a candlelight glow, we had amber Uplights highlighting the pillars in the room.

I must comment on Cindy’s gown, because it was stunning.  The whole gown was a dusty pink color, with a dusty pink lace overlay, and it was absolutely gorgeous.  Casey wore a slate blue suit with a pink tie, to match.  Instead of a traditional wedding party, this couple had their children standing up with them at the altar, and they all participated in the Sand Ceremony as well.

Cindy’s three-tiered white cake was very elegant, as it had roses accenting each tier.  The topper was Casey and Cindy’s monogram.  Casey’s cake was a big hit, as it was cheesecake, and who doesn’t love cheesecake?  There was also a candy buffet with assorted chocolates and custom printed bags for the guests to hold their candy.  After the cake cutting and toast, the dance floor was opened after Cindy and Casey each danced with their children.

One fun aspect of this Reception was when Cindy and Casey led the guests in The Second Line, a New Orleans tradition.  They passed out handkerchiefs with a fleur de lis design for the guests to wave as they danced around the room.  Most of the guests joined in the line, making it a great time for all!

Once the Last Dance was over, the guests lined up outside to say farewell to the Newlyweds.  Congratulations Casey and Cindy!

Congratulations Francois and Kim

This Reception, with the colors of blush and gold was so pretty, and perfect for the historic venue.  The tables had floor-length ivory cloths with blush overlays.  The centerpieces were either low arrangements of ivory and blush flowers or tall candelabras with ivory pillar candles and ivory and blush flowers.  Smaller votive candles surrounded each centerpiece.  Each place setting featured a gold charger topped with an ivory napkin. To tie all the colors together and make the room glow with color, we had amber Uplights shining up the pillars of the venue.

For the toasts, the Maid of Honor surprised the couple by singing a song, accompanied by a friend playing the guitar.  After the toasts, Kim and Francois cut their wedding cake.  The wedding cake was made up of several cakes, each on an elegant white pedestal.  For a special cake cutting touch, the Newlyweds had a plate with “Mr. & Mrs.” printed on it.  For the feeding of the cake, they had silver forks with “Mr.” and “Mrs.” engraved on them.

After a fun night of dancing, the evening came to a close with the Last Dance.  The Newlyweds then ran through a shower of bubbles before driving off in their car.  Congratulations Francois and Kim!
