I must comment on Cindy’s gown, because it was
stunning. The whole gown was a dusty
pink color, with a dusty pink lace overlay, and it was absolutely
gorgeous. Casey wore a slate blue suit
with a pink tie, to match. Instead of a
traditional wedding party, this couple had their children standing up with them
at the altar, and they all participated in the Sand Ceremony as well.
Cindy’s three-tiered white cake was very elegant, as it had
roses accenting each tier. The topper
was Casey and Cindy’s monogram. Casey’s
cake was a big hit, as it was cheesecake, and who doesn’t love cheesecake? There was also a candy buffet with assorted
chocolates and custom printed bags for the guests to hold their candy. After the cake cutting and toast, the dance
floor was opened after Cindy and Casey each danced with their children.
One fun aspect of this Reception was when Cindy and Casey
led the guests in The Second Line, a New Orleans tradition. They passed out handkerchiefs with a fleur de
lis design for the guests to wave as they danced around the room. Most of the guests joined in the line, making
it a great time for all!
Once the Last Dance was over, the guests lined up outside to
say farewell to the Newlyweds.
Congratulations Casey and Cindy!
