Congratulations Tim and Geny

This wedding had so many guests (300+) that it took a whole convention center to hold them all for the Reception.  How cool is that?  The day featured the colors of pink and black.  The tables had white cloths with black napkins and there were three different centerpieces, all with pink and white flowers: a tall vase with a tall arrangement of flowers, three vases of assorted heights with sunken flowers and floating candles, and low floral arrangements around vases with candles.  More candles were on the tables scattered around the centerpieces.  To tie in the pink color, we had pink Uplights around the room on all the walls.  For the final touch, we had a GOBO monogram projected on the wall above the wedding cakes.

Geny’s five tier white wedding cake matched the colors of the day with the white designs on the tiers and pink flowers accenting the tiers and making up the topper.  Tim’s chocolate cake smelled so good you could smell it ten feet away!  It had two stacked tiers plus an additional rectangular cake.  They were accented with Reese’s peanut butter cups – yum!

This couple had something really unique that I liked.   They had a quilt in their wedding colors displayed on a table, and guests signed the quilt with fabric markers.  How’s that for a guest book that you can display forever?  Another unique thing they did was hire a magician to entertain for the first two hours of the reception.  He walked table to table doing tricks for the guests.  Everyone had a lot of fun watching him work his magic!

After a night of fun and dancing, and an Anniversary Dance showing that the longest married couple in the room had been married 58 years, the evening came to a close before the Newlyweds headed off to their new life as a married couple. Congratulations Tim and Geny!

Congratulations Justin and Ashley

Although this wedding day had overcast skies and rain, the reception was beautiful and lots of fun!  The colors were blush pink and ivory with burlap accents and they were carried out perfectly.  The tables had floor length ivory cloths with burlap toppers.  Over the burlap toppers were ivory lace toppers.  The centerpieces matched as well, as they were mason jars wrapped in burlap ribbon and ivory lace, filled with baby’s breath and blush pink hydrangeas.

Ashley’s cake matched the wedding theme with its four stacked off-white tiers.  Each tier had a taupe ribbon running around the bottom and burlap rosettes ran down the sides of the cake.  The topper was a wood initial of the couple’s last name.  Justin’s ‘cake’ was actually cupcakes of assorted flavors, all stacked on and around a tool chest (Justin works in construction.)

After a night of fun and plenty of dancing, the reception came to an end after the Last Dance.  Ashley and Justin ran through petals and headed off to their new life as a married couple.  Congratulations Justin and Ashley!

Congratulations Peter and Katie

We had wonderful weather for this winery wedding.  After two weeks of overcast weather and rain, the sun came out and we had pretty blue skies for the Ceremony.  The color for this wedding was purple and it was reflected in the linens and flowers.  The tables had floor length white cloths and the chairs had white covers with purple satin ties.  The centerpieces consisted of purple flowers with purple petals scattered around them.  As a nod to the winery, there were wine corks scattered around the centerpieces as well.  Katie’s cake matched the colors too, as it had three stacked white tiers with purple flowers accenting each tier and making up the topper.  Peter’s cake was awesome: he’s a pilot and his cake was decorated to look like the critical care plane that he flies for work.  I loved the forks they had for their cake cutting.  One was engraved with the words “I do” and the other was engraved with the word “me too.”  Cute!

We saw something at this wedding we’ve never seen before and it was so cool - after the Ceremony, a plane flew overhead pulling a banner that said Congratulations Katie and Peter.  It was a surprise to the bride and groom and everyone ran out from under the pavilion to see it!  After a night of dancing and fun, the evening came to a close.  The newlyweds ran through sparklers, got into a limousine and headed off to their new life as a married couple.  Congratulations Peter and Katie!

Congratulations Chase and Kimberly

This reception with the colors of white and purple was so pretty!  The tables had floor length white cloths with purple embroidered toppers.  The chairs had white satin covers with purple embroidered ties.  The centerpieces alternated between vases of purple flowers or vases of white hydrangeas.  We had purple Uplights along the walls to tie it all together.   The cake was perfect for the wedding as well.  It had four stacked tiers with purple flowers accenting each tier and making up the topper.

After a fun night of dancing (this group danced from the first song to the last!), the night came to a close.  The Newlyweds ran through a shower of bubbles, jumped into a limo and headed off to their new life together.  Congratulations Chase and Kimberly!
