Congratulations Chris and Sveta

This delayed reception was for the sweetest couple who have known each other since they were kids!  The newlyweds actually got married a few months ago but chose to have their reception later.  Their colors were wine and gold, and the ballroom was very elegant.  The tables had floor-length ivory linens and wine pin tuck overlays.  The gold chargers were topped by blush napkins in gold napkin rings.  The centerpieces alternated between tall vases with ivory and blush flowers, and low lanterns with candles.

Since this reception was on Good Friday, the families arranged to have communion for those who wished to participate.  That was something we’ve never seen at a reception, and it was really nice.  Sveta’s red velvet cake was so pretty: it had four, stacked, white tiers accented with greenery.  Chris’ groom’s ‘cake’ was actually a tower of mini pies in assorted flavors.  That’s so fun!

After a great evening of friends and family, the night came to a close with the last dance.  Instead of a traditional exit, the newlyweds stay until the end to say farewell to their guests.  Congratulations Chris and Sveta!

Congratulations Matt and Karli

This reception, with the colors of navy, light pink, magenta and cream, was so pretty!  The tables had cream floor-length linens topped with satin light pink toppers.  Each place setting had a gold charger with a cream napkin in a gold napkin ring.  The high/low centerpieces were tall candelabras with cream hydrangeas or low arrangements of cream and magenta flowers.  The bridal party wore navy sequin short, fitted dresses, and carried bouquets of ivory and light pink flowers.  To give the room a candlelight glow, we had amber Uplights behind the head table.

Karli’s four—tiered white cake was elegant in its simplicity:  the layers were covered in smooth frosting and a few light pink and magenta flowers.  Matt’s grooms cake had two stacked white tiers.  The favors for the guests were custom koozies with Karli   Something I really liked at this reception was the ‘guest book.’  It was a custom ink and watercolor drawing of the couple, and the guests signed the mat around the drawing.
and Matt’s names on them.

After a fun night good food, drinks and dancing, the evening came to a close with the last dance.  The newlyweds than ran through lines of sparklers before making their getaway.  Congratulations Matt and Karli!
