With the theme of fall colors, the décor for the day matched
perfectly. April’s bouquet was made of fall
colored flowers including hydrangea, roses and wheat. It was gorgeous! The tables all had ivory damask floor-length
linens and centerpieces of fall colored flowers, leaves and wheat. The cakes matched the colors also, as April’s
three tiered, stacked white cake had smooth white frosting with an accent of a
few fall colored roses. Jonathan’s cake
was a surprise for the guests, as it was peanut butter flavored. It was a big hit!
There was a unique guest book at this wedding that I really
liked. The couple had a small photo
album with places to slide in photos.
The guests took selfies with a Polaroid camera that printed out wallet
sized photos. The guests slid their
photos in the album and signed the page next to them. As a nod to the fall colors, there were to
pumpkins on the sign in table, one with a veil, and one with a painted-on
tuxedo. They were cute! For a
fun exit, there were small bottles of bubbles, large wands of bubbles, and even
a bubble machine.
Although dancing was a fun aspect of this wedding, the focus
was on family and friends. April and
Jonathan had plenty of time to visit and talk with their guests, which was
nice. The elegant afternoon wedding came
to a close with the last dance. The
couple then ran through bubbles before driving away to their new life together. Congratulations Jonathan and April and enjoy
your European honeymoon!
