Congratulations Scott and Grace

This ceremony and reception were just perfect.  The wedding day started out with an indoor ceremony, in which the bride and groom wrote their own vows.  Grace’s vows were so sweet they were tough to follow, but Scott got everyone laughing when he quoted from The Princess Bride movie.  Too funny!  With the wedding colors of navy, white and ivory, the room matched with the linens.  The tables had floor-length ivory linens topped by navy pin tuck overlays.  The centerpieces consisted of wood slices under white lanterns with candles.  Alongside each was a vase holding blue flowers and greenery.  To add a touch of the beach, each centerpiece was accented with a few starfish.  For a sweet treat, the favors were small, personalized heart shaped boxes accented with seashells and filled with mints.  The sign in table had something fun for the guests: Jenga tiles for them to sign and write a few words.  It was a really cute idea!

Grace’s three-tiered, stacked cake matched the subtle beach theme of the wedding day.  It had beach accents, with edible seashells and sand made of brown sugar.  The topper was two cute little beach chairs.  I loved it!  In lieu of a traditional cake, Scott opted for cheesecakes with blueberry or strawberry toppings - yum!

I must mention how beautiful Grace looked.  Her tea-length dress was so beautiful!  It had elbow-length lace sleeves, and I love lace sleeves.  To complete her look, she had gorgeous blue shoes and her hair was in a loose ‘braid’ that ran down her back, accented with pearls.

After a day of spending time with their guests, dancing, getting laughs with the Shoe Game, and having a great time, the night came to a close as the Newlyweds ran through bubbles and drove off.  Congratulations Scott and Grace!
