See you at the Bridal Extravaganza!

As most of you brides- and grooms-to-be know, the Bridal Extravaganza is coming up soon, on July 19 & 20. This bridal show is the largest in the United States, so don't miss it! We will be in booth #312. Come by and say hi!

You're probably wondering why I'm bringing this up one month before the show, but for us vendors, it's time to start preparing. We're making flyers, planning our booth layout, making sure we have enough business cards, getting our presentation in order, and doing all kinds of prep work. Ferdy and I look forward to the show every time it comes around. It is a lot of work, but we enjoy meeting all of you and visiting with our vendor friends. We know how important it is for you to meet your DJs in person, so we make it a point of personally being at each and every bridal show rather than hiring people to work our booth for us.

We are especially excited about this show because we will have our new uplights in our booth. If you don't know what they are, they are like spot lights that are on the floor, placed strategically around the room. At only $25 each, they are an inexpensive way to make a fantastic statement! You might have them shining up a pillar, glowing behind the cake table, or drawing attention to the head table. The uplights allow us to turn down the house lights a bit more, and help carry out your theme and colors throughout the reception. You'd be amazed at how incredible a room looks when you add uplights!

And for those of you who already have most of your vendors booked, you should still come to the Bridal Extravaganza. It's even more fun when you are able to stroll around and take your time without worrying about gathering as much information as humanly possible. :-) And, don't forget the yummy cake samples!

Want some Bridal Extravaganza tips?
1. Wear comfortable shoes. You will be walk more than you ever have in your life, unless you've walked the Boston Marathon. ha ha
2. Bring a backpack to carry all the information you get from vendors. You will get a lot!
3. If you meet a vendor that you are very interested in, write something on their flyer or put it in a bag separate from the rest. Believe me, if you don't have some type of system, when you get home you'll dump out your huge bag of information on the floor and say, "I can't remember which vendors were the ones we really liked!"

And now, last but definitely not least:
Happy 7th Anniversary to my wonderful husband! Thank you for 7 years of wedded bliss. You're the best husband ever! (and a pretty darn good DJ to!)
