Exciting things are happening

Back in May, we provided DJ services for the reception of Melanie and Kyle. In college, she was in a sorority and he was in a fraternity. Of course, we played their sorority and fraternity songs as they and their friends sang (or danced) along. Needless to say, they had plenty of college friends there and the party went on non-stop! There was some wild dancing going on, especially in the extra hour of overtime. Since most of the people left at that time were the Bride and Groom's friends, Ferdy got to play some songs we normally don't play at a reception. As for the Bride and Groom, Kyle was so much fun and Melanie was a true beauty in an elegant satin gown. The cake, the room, it all looked gorgeous!

The reason I brought that up is because we want to thank Melanie's mom. It turns out that her other daughter is also getting married this year (can you imagine two of your daughters getting married in the same year!?), and she booked us for that reception. And, she referred us to a friend, who booked us for her daughter's wedding reception as well. Thanks for putting your trust in us and recommending us to your friend!

We also met with a future bride yesterday who brought along her Man of Honor for the consultation. Those two are so funny together! We could see why he's the Man of Honor: he's working so hard to make sure the wedding will be exactly what the Bride wants. He's helping with the invitations, the decor, the cake, visiting reception sites, you name it. What a great guy! We know we will have such a fantastic time working with the Bride, Groom, and Man of Honor.
