Since COVID-19 caused this couple
to marry at home, they decided to later have a great party to celebrate. Guests arrived in shorts and casual shirts,
perfect for this indoor/outdoor venue. There
was a unique guest book which the guests signed: wine corks. There were funny signs leading to the way to
the reception, which reminded the guests to wear masks and wash their hands,
but in a way that made them laugh. The
funniest sign was on the dessert table.
It said, “Don’t be gross, use the tongs.” I loved it!
The centerpieces were perfect for the rustic style of the indoor/outdoor venue. The tables alternated between burlap runners or squares and they were topped with vases of baby’s breath. To encourage the guests to have fun, there were outdoor games, including corn hole. Rather than have the traditional wedding reception elements, we just played music non-stop. Everyone had a great time, eating, drinking, chatting and dancing. It was perfect for this laid-back wedding reception. Congratulations Chelsea and Trey!
