Despite the COVID-19 pandemic looming over our heads, this couple managed to pull off a beautiful wedding with lots of dancing and fun. For favors, they gave out personalized masks with their names and wedding date on them, alongside small bottles of hand sanitizer. What a perfect way to celebrate the wedding. Alexandra even had a mask made of extra material from her wedding dress!
With the colors of hunter green and grey, the wedding was beautiful. The tables had floor length ivory cloths topped by embroidered ivory runners. Each place setting featured gold chargers and hunter green napkins. The centerpieces were either tall vases with ivory roses and greenery or low terrarium style geometric vases with candles and greenery. The ceremony took place in front of doors that faced a park, while the couple stood under a beautiful arch with ivory flowers. It was all so pretty!
In lieu of a traditional wedding cake or
groom’s cake, there was a tower of cupcakes and a tower of mini
cheesecakes. (Tip: if you are doing
this, you need to put out signs that tell the guests not to eat them. Otherwise, when it’s time for the official
cake cutting, most of them will be gone.)
Another unique touch was their guest book. There was a bible for guests to highlight
their favorite verse and sign their names next to it. We also had our photo booth there, and guests
loved taking fun pictures.
Once the night came to an end, the newlyweds ran though a shower of rose petals
before they headed off to their new life as a married couple. Congratulations Mick and Alexandra!
