This New Year’s Eve wedding had a Roaring 20’s theme, and it took place in a historical venue that was perfect. The nighttime ceremony was held outside at the gazebo, with the wedding party in 20’s attire. Katie and her wedding party wore fitted 20’s style dresses. They wore headbands with feathers and held fans made of feathers. Underneath Katie’s dress, she wore gold blinged out Keds with blush satin shoelaces. How cute! The guys looked great as well. Mark and his groomsmen wore black tuxes with tails and wore beaded boutonnieres. What’s really cool is that many of the guests wore roaring 20’s style attire as well.
When the guests moved inside, they found the ballroom
decorated to match the wedding colors of navy, maroon, blush and gold. The tables had navy floor-length satin linens
and maroon napkins sat atop gold chargers.
The high/low centerpieces had ivory hydrangeas and blush roses, and they
were surrounded by candles. The
four-tiered, stacked cake matched the wedding theme as well. The tiers had feather accents and gold 20’s
style designs.
As it neared midnight, everyone joined in as we counted down
to the new year. We played Auld Lang
Syne amid hugs and well wishes. The
newlyweds then said farewell to their guests before heading off into the new
year and their new life. Congratulations
Mark and Katie!
