Congratulations Eric and Margaret

What a wonderful reception for a wonderful couple!  The wedding colors were wine and dusty blue and they were so pretty together.  The bridal party wore wine colored floor length dresses while the groomsmen wore blue tuxes.  The flowers were ivory and soft pink.  The centerpieces consisted of books stacked on each other, surrounded by greenery and candles.  All of the books were wrapped in dusty blue paper, and the spines had love verses on them.  What a great idea!  The guest ‘book’ was so unique!  It was a painting of Margaret and Eric in their wedding day attire, and the background was wine colored.  The guests signed the portrait around the couple with gold and silver markers.

The four-tier, stacked cake was so pretty.  It was a ‘naked cake’ which means it had very little frosting on it.  With wine and ivory colored flowers accenting it, it was gorgeous.  For favors, there were wine and dusty blue koozies at the bar, customized with the couple’s names and wedding date.  To give the room a golden glow, we had amber uplights around the room.

When the night ended after the last dance, the couple ran through guests waving sparklers, hopped into a horse drawn carriage, and headed off to their new life.  Congratulations Eric and Margaret!
