This Reception was special to us, as we’ve known the bride personally
for the past year, so it was an honor to be a part of her wedding day. The colors for the wedding were ivory, dark
red, blush and gold, and they all came together perfectly. The tables had ivory floor-length table cloths
with overlays of beige lace and were surrounded by gold Chiavari chairs. Each place setting had a gold charger and
ivory napkin with a gold napkin ring.
The centerpieces alternated between three styles: a tall, gold
candelabra with ivory candles; a tall vase filled with pearls and topped with
ivory hydrangeas and red roses; and lower arrangements of ivory hydrangeas and
red roses. To add a beautiful glow to
the reception, we had amber Uplights placed around the room.
The cakes were perfect for this country-themed
wedding. Rachel’s cake had three white
stacked tiers, all with natural style
frosting. The tiers were accented with
dark red roses, which also made up the topper. Topher’s chocolate cake was a nod to his love for hunting, as it was
decorated to look like a duck pond. Both
cakes were on gold pedestals.
There were some great details at this wedding to tie in with
the theme. There were koozies at the bar
with the state of Texas on them. The
sign-in book was actually two painted boards, one with the state of Texas on it
and the other with the couple’s last name.
The guests signed them in gold and silver markers and later the Newlyweds
will hang then in their home.
After a night of great food, great drinks, and lots of
Country dancing, the night came to an end when the Newlyweds ran through a
shower of rose petals and headed off in a horse-drawn carriage. Congratulations Topher and Rachael!
