This reception with the colors of navy, coral and champagne
was very elegant. The tables had floor
length ivory linens covered with navy pin tuck toppers and gold chargers. The high/low centerpieces were either high
vases with ivory and coral flowers or low arrangements in the same colors. To accent the room, we had blue Uplights on
the pillars.
There was a unique detail at this reception that we haven’t
seen before: instead of a traditional guest book, the couple had a shadow box
style picture frame. The guests signed
their name on small wooden hearts and dropped the hearts into the frame. In the center of the frame were bigger hearts
with Jonathan and Mackenzie’s names and their wedding date. Another neat detail was the favors: they were
small succulent plants at every other place setting for the guests to take home.
Mackenzie’s cake was very pretty and matched the elegance of
the reception as well as the favors. It
had three stacked ivory tiers with fresh flower and succulent accents. Jonathan works in robotics, so his chocolate
cake was perfect: it was in the shape of the robot – how cool! When the reception came to an end, everyone
joined in the Last Dance before showering the Newlyweds with bubbles as they
headed off to their new life as a married couple. Congratulations Jonathan and Mackenzie!
