With the colors of navy and ivory with gold accents, this
reception was very elegant.
The tables
had white linens and centerpieces of ivory and blue flowers. The chairs had
white satin covers with navy ties.
The
favors were in small gold satin bags at each place setting.
To add a beautiful candlelight glow and tie
in with the gold, we had amber Uplights highlighting the room.
Elissa’s elegant four tier stacked cake matched the wedding
colors as well, as it had alternating gold and white tiers all accented with
flowers.
Gray’s cake was for his alma
mater: it was a white cake with a UT Longhorn on the top.
As a nod to Gray’s love for sports, when he
tossed the garter it was wrapped around a football that the lucky catcher got
to keep.
After the cake cutting, toasts and special dances, the dance
floor was open to all. The dance floor
was packed from the first song to the last: this crowd loved to dance! They were singing along, jumping up and down
and having a blast. To add to the fun atmosphere, glow necklaces were handed out to the
dancers.
When the night came to a close, the Newlyweds ran through a
shower of dried flower confetti, climbed into their decorated car and headed
off to their Hawaiian honeymoon.
Congratulations Gray and Elissa!
