This ocean front Ceremony, held in the gazebo in front of
the San Luis, had beautiful blue skies accenting the wedding colors of light
blue, coral and peach. To tie in with
the beach theme, the white garden chairs had large starfish hanging from them,
tied with peach satin bows. After the
Ceremony, the guests moved indoors for the Reception. The tables had pretty ivory ribbon embroidered
floor-length satin tablecloths with centerpieces of pastel flowers surrounded
by candles.
After Candice and Gary made their entrance, they went right
into their First Dance. The
Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dances followed before the guests enjoyed their
dinner. The cake cutting came next,
after the toasts. Candice’s three-tiered
stacked ivory cake featured different designs on each layer and a beautiful
accent of fresh flowers down the front and making up the topper. Gary’s cake was awesome: it was an Xbox 360
console and controller. Then, the
dancing opened up for everyone, especially the kids. There were so many kids at this wedding and
they loved being out on the dance floor!
After a bit we stopped for the bouquet and garter before
going right back to the dancing. When
the night came to an end, the Newlyweds ran through a shower of petals and
drove off in the hotel’s vintage car.
Congratulations Gary and Candice!
