The
Ceremony was held in the same location as the Reception, and with the colors of
eggplant and ivory matching the historic venue, it was so beautiful. The tables had ivory floor length table
cloths and the toppers were in eggplant.
Each table had a beautiful wrought iron lantern on top with a candle
inside, and they were the same lanterns that lined the aisle for the Ceremony. The chairs had ivory satin covers tied with
eggplant ties.
After
the Ceremony and cocktail hour, the guests entered the Reception. During picture taking, Amber took a picture
of her Bridal Party in a pose that looked like the poster from the movie Bridesmaids. Too funny!
Soon after, Michael and Amber made their entrance and enjoyed their
First Dance. After dinner and toasts, it
was time for the cake cutting. Amber’s
three-tiered off white cake was decorated in floral accents of the same
color. These accents gave it an elegant,
vintage look, which was very pretty.
Michael’s cake was a pistachio flavored cake with butter cream
icing. Although it’s not a traditional
flavor, everyone loved it! The
Father/Daughter dance came next and then it was dance time.
This
crowd was fun! From the first song to
the last, they had a blast on the dance floor.
It was fun just watching, so you know they had a great time! We paused for the bouquet and garter and then
went right back to the fun until the very end.
After an upbeat, fun last dance, the guests gathered around the
Newlyweds on the dance floor to hug them and wish them well until they headed
off to their new life together.
Congratulations Michael and Amber!
