The guests entered the ballroom to find a unique guest ‘book’. It consisted of fabric squares that the guests signed. Later, Rachael will make them into a quilt. The guest’s dinner tables were so pretty. They alternated between burgundy and navy damask floor-length cloths and were topped by burgundy or navy napkins. A menu card was tucked into each napkin. The centerpieces were a variety of antique lanterns surrounded by flowers and candles. To give the room an elegant glow, we had our pale pink uplights shining up the walls.
The white, two-tiered wedding cake was embellished with pearls and blue and burgundy flowers. The topper had a little bride and groom, accented by matching flowers. For a special treat for the guests, there was a dessert table covered in mini-cupcakes, cookies, mousse, and an assortment of mini-desserts. It was a hit!
Once dancing was underway, LED foam wands and LED fiber wands were passed out to the guests. There was a Hora, where Ryan was lifted up in a chair while guests danced around him. There was a lot of fun dancing! When guests weren’t on the dance floor, they had a great time taking pictures in our photo booth. The newlyweds even brought an enlarged picture of their cat, Potato, and took pictures in the photo booth with it . Too funny!
When the reception ended, the newlyweds ran through well-wishers, climbed into Ryan’s truck, and headed off. Congratulations Rachael and Ryan!
