Congratulations Anthony and Annette

This was the most amazing wedding and we had the pleasure of providing DJ services, Day of Coordination and a photo booth. The ceremony was held in the beautiful Sacred Heart Church, with a soloist singing. A trolley dropped the wedding party at the church and, following the ceremony, drove them to the reception venue. The wedding colors were dark eggplant and blue, so the bridesmaids wore floor-length eggplant dresses and the flowers were white with eggplant colored flowers accented with blue.

The reception was beautiful as well. The tables had floor-length eggplant-colored linens and napkins, and the centerpieces were stacks of books. This couple loves to read, so in addition to the stacked books, there were favors of custom book marks and the guest book was a picture of a book case that guests signed.

Annette’s three-tiered, stacked, gorgeous cake matched the book theme, as two of the tiers were wrapped with edible book pages. This couple loves movies as well, so Anthony’s round, groom’s cake had edible movie posters running around it. Everyone loved the cakes!

The reception tied in elements that reflected the couple’s heritage. For Anthony, mariachis played during dinner. Then for Annette, we did a Second Line as a nod to her Louisiana roots.  Anthony and Annette carried umbrellas, the guests waved their napkins, and everyone danced through the ballroom. The Second Line was fun! Once the dancing began, it was a good mix of music for everyone. Our photo booth was a hit, as everyone was in there all night long. For a unique touch, the lucky lady who caught the bouquet was presented with a Lego kit that makes a floral Lego bouquet. Obviously, this couple loves Legos in addition to movies and books.

When the night came to a close, the newlyweds ran through guests waving ribbon wands, climbed into a horse-drawn carriage, and headed off to their new life.  Congratulations Annette and Anthony!
