The ballroom was decorated beautifully. The tables had navy floor-length linens, topped by gold charger plates and navy napkins. The centerpieces alternated between off-white lanterns with candles or floral arrangements of white and ivory flowers. It was all very elegant and matched the wedding colors perfectly. The white, stacked bride’s cake consisted of 3 tiers, each accented with ivory flowers and greenery. To match the wedding colors, it sat on a gold cake stand. Jason must like cookies, as the groom’s cake consisted of a large chocolate chip cookie with the couple’s names on it.
For a non-traditional guest book, the guests signed a large wood “C” (the couple’s last initial), which had their names and wedding date burned into it. Kim and Jason will later hang it in their home. At the bar, the guest’s loved drinking margaritas out of cups with the newlywed’s names and wedding date on them. One interesting aspect about this couple is that they met during COVID, dated during COVID, got engaged during COVID and got married during COVID. That was a first for us! When the night came to an end, the newlyweds ran through a shower of bubbles (the rain stopped just in time for their exit!) before driving away to their new life together. Congratulations Jason and Kim!
