The cold weather did nothing to slow down this beautiful and
fun wedding reception. The colors for
the day were navy and blush with gold accents and it all came together
perfectly. The guest tables had navy
floor length cloths and were topped with gold chargers and blush napkins. The high/low centerpieces alternated between
tall vases and low arrangements, both with cream and pink flowers. Candles surrounded them, to give the room a warm
glow.
Guests loved the wedding cakes, not just for the taste but
for style. The white wedding cake had
four stacked tiers, each with white designs.
Fresh flowers in cream and pink cascaded down the cake and it was so
pretty! Gabe’s chocolate cake was
awesome, as it reflected his job as a police officer. It had three stacked tiers, the top tier
looked like his hat. The middle and
bottom tiers looked like his uniform and even had edible handcuffs and an
edible badge. It was incredible!
To match their wedding colors, there was a candy buffet with all pink. The guests loved that! For a pretty accent, we had our marquee LOVE letters on a vintage ladder. They turned into a popular spot for taking photos and they were a big hit! The newlyweds planned on leaving the reception by boat, but due to the weather, they were unable to do so. Instead, guests lined up from the ballroom to the elevator and waved glow sticks as the couple left. It was a perfect ending to a perfect day. Congratulations Gabe and Carly!
