This ballroom overlooking the beach was perfect for the
couple’s fun wedding reception, which featured the colors of blush, gold, ivory
and black. The tables had ivory floor length
linens, topped with gold chargers and ivory napkins. The centerpieces consisted of candles in
glass vases. When the guests arrived,
they found their assigned tables on a large customized mirror. There were custom coloring books and crayons
for the kids at the wedding.
The wedding flowers matched the colors of the day, as they
had ivory and blush flowers. Sara’s
three-tiered, ivory, stacked cake had natural frosting lines and was accented
with blush roses. In lieu of a
traditional groom’s cake, Jamie opted for cupcakes in a variety of flavors. The couple had engraved cake forks that said,
“I do” and “Me too” on them. The cake
server had “Just married” on it. Too
cute!
When it came to dancing, this crowd was fun! They were singing along to the music and waving
their hands in the air. We saw one guest
do the worm, and at one point, there was a spontaneous Conga line with Sara in
the lead! After the last dance ended the
evening, the guests lined up outside to shower the newlyweds with rose bud and
lavender potpourri. Congratulations
Jamie and Sara!
