This Ceremony and Reception were held in a gorgeous historic
ballroom, and everything was very elegant.
The wedding colors were fuchsia and plum, and they were carried out in
the bridesmaid’s dresses, the groomsmen's vests, the linens and the
flowers. The tables had ivory
floor-length linens with plum toppers.
The high/low centerpieces consisted of low antique lanterns with candles
inside or tall candelabras with candles and greenery.
After the Ceremony, which was held in the same ballroom as
the Reception, we moved onto the First Dance, Toast and Cake Cutting. Gwen’s cake was gorgeous! It had three stacked pale lavender tiers with
white designs. Accenting the tiers were
fuchsia roses and antique brooches and pins.
The topper consisted of fuchsia roses with a bling initial nestled
inside. The flowers and brooches on the
cake perfectly matched Gwen’s bouquet. David’s
chocolate cake was awesome for a guy who loved to hunt: it had a hunting scene
on top featuring a camouflage tent, a deer and a 4-wheeler. It was cool!
When the evening came to an end, Gwen and David ran through
bubbles and said farewell to their guests before heading off to their new life
together. Congratulations David and
Gwen!
