This afternoon wedding Ceremony and Reception were just
perfect for this sweet couple. Both
events were held in a small ballroom, which had a gorgeous fireplace
highlighting one wall and rows of windows highlighting another. The color for this wedding was cobalt blue and
the flowers matched with accents of coral and ivory. The tables had floor-length ivory tablecloths
and the centerpieces consisted of candles surrounded by rose petals.
After the smaller Ceremony, which was for immediate family
only, the Reception with a larger guest list followed. I loved Heather’s unique three tiered white
wedding cake: it had oval shaped tiers accented with flowers. I’ve never seen an oval shaped wedding cake
before and it was very elegant. Ryan,
who’s from Louisiana, had his cake decorated in purple and yellow for the LSU
tigers. Another touch that I haven’t
seen before was the cocktail napkins: they had a picture of Heather and Ryan’s
dog on them with the saying “One big happy family.” Too cute!
For favors, the guests were given wine glasses that said “Eat, drink and
be married” followed by the couples’ names and wedding date.
After a fun afternoon that allowed for plenty of time for visiting
with guests along with Heather dancing to almost every song, the Reception came
to a close. Everyone joined in the last
dance before wishing the Newlyweds farewell.
Congratulations Ryan and Heather!
