This wedding incorporated some of the couple’s loves, from
the outdoors (camo vests and ties on the guys and an outdoor ceremony) to alcohol (bottles with baby’s
breath for the centerpieces) to country music (western boots on the Bridal
Party). The colors for the day were red
and champagne and were carried out in the dresses and linens. The tables had ivory floor-length cloths with
gold chargers and red napkins, and the head table had lace overlays
After the First Dance and dinner, we moved on to the toasts
and cake cutting. Lindy’s cake had four
white stacked tiers, each with a red ribbon at the base. Each tier had white scroll designs on it and
the topper consisted of the couple’s last initial and their names. Derek’s chocolate cake looked like a giant
Jack Daniels bottle and everyone loved it!
One really cute thing they had at this wedding was a kissing
booth. They had it stocked with
disposable cameras so guests could take photos inside the booth and Derek and
Lindy could enjoy the photos later.
We’ve never seen a kissing booth at a wedding before!
Later after lots of dancing, the Bouquet and Garter and the
Last Dance, the night came to a close.
The Newlyweds ran through their guests waving glow sticks before they
left for their new life together.
Congratulations Derek and Lindy!
