Congratulations Kelso and Haylea

This was a great wedding day, with the sweetest couple and most fun families that we could ever hope to meet.  We knew we were going to have fun, and we did!  The day started with a cabaret-style ceremony in front of a beautiful arch of flowers.  The color for this wedding was navy, and it was reflected in the wedding party.  The ladies wore floor-length navy dresses while the groomsmen wore navy vests under their tuxes.  For fun, all the members of the wedding party, including the bride and groom, wore Converse while the groomsmen wore superhero socks.

The dinner tables had ivory floor-length linens with navy pin-tuck toppers.  The high/low centerpieces alternated between tall vases with hydrangeas, and lower bird cages filled with flowers.  Kelso’s chocolate groom’s cake featured a duck hunting scene on it, although supposedly, Haylea is the better duck hunter.  Haylea’s three-tiered, stacked white cake had gorgeous brown vines with blue sugar flowers snaking down the front.  It was so pretty!

Besides the dancing fun, this couple had another way to entertain the guests: the Shoe Game.  The Maid of Honor read questions, while Kelso and Haylea held up shoes to indicate their answers.  While they didn’t match many answers, it’s still obvious that this couple will have a long, happy marriage.  When the night came to a close, everyone joined in the Last Dance before seeing the Newlyweds drive off in a restored vintage car.  Congratulations Kelso and Haylea!

Congratulations Glenn and Carol

This amazing beach-themed wedding was perfect for such a fun-loving couple.  Wherever they were, whatever they were doing, they were laughing.  The color of dusty lavender was carried throughout the day, and was featured in all kinds of lavender and beach accents.  The outdoor ceremony had guests waving lavender ribbon wands as the couple walked back down the aisle.  While waiting for the ceremony to start, the guests sipped on lemon-infused water, while reading the program, which was printed on beach-themed paper.  The four little flower girls were adorable, with their lavender floral head wreaths and the groomsmen were well dressed for the day, in khaki linen slacks and vests.  I loved how the guys all wore lavender argyle socks!

Upon heading inside the ballroom, the guests were greeted with a large custom drawn timeline of Carol and Glenn’s relationship.  I’ve never seen one done like that, and it was awesome!  The beach and lavender accents continued throughout the reception.  The tables had floor length ivory linens topped by lavender overlays.  The high/low centerpieces alternated between tall vases of lavender and ivory hydrangea and white lanterns with candles.  Each place setting featured silver chargers and custom lavender coasters.  For favors, the guests were given small bags of chocolates in purple wrappers and custom lavender koozies.  There was a basket of lavender flip flops near the dance floor, so the guests could dance the night away in comfort.

Carol’s three-tiered white wedding cake had white roses accenting the layers and a lavender topper that said, “God gave me you.”  Glenn’s groom’s cake had blue and white Dallas Cowboys stars on it – so I imagine they’re his favorite team.  For the cake cutting, the couple used a special plate with a wedding scene on it and forks with the words “bride” and “groom” stamped into them.  Other accents found throughout this day included our bespoke GOBO monogram, which projected the couple’s names onto the dance floor, and our dance floor lighting, which helped add to the fun mood.  This was perfect for Carol, who changed into pink Converse with a blinged-out toe.  She was ready to party!

After a picture-perfect day, the evening came to an end with the newlyweds driving away in a horse drawn carriage.  Congratulations Glenn and Carol!

Congratulations Joey and Heather

This wedding Ceremony and Reception took place at a venue which offered a beautiful view.  The colors for the day were slate blue and rose, and they were perfect for the outdoor Ceremony overlooking a lake.  Joey and the groomsmen wore grey tuxes with slate blue vests, while the bridesmaids wore slate blue floor-length dresses.  The Reception tables had white tablecloths with slate blue lace runners and were surrounded by chiavari chairs.  Centerpieces of short vases of assorted flowers and candles finished off the look.

The four tier, white, wedding cake had a topper that stated, “Let the adventure continue.”  Sitting next to the front of the cake was a tiny bicycle that had a top hat and veil on top.  So cute and perfect for this active, adventure-loving couple.  For fun, there was a popcorn buffet with assorted flavors of popcorn, toppings and candy.  There were personalized bags for the guests to take the treats home, although there was very little left by the end of the night.  Everyone loved the popcorn!  For a final treat, there was a bucket of flip-flops for guests to wear while dancing.  The favors were little white boxes filled with candy.  This couple thought of everything!

After a wonderful day of family, friends and fun, the night came to a close with the sparkler exit.  Congratulations Joey and Heather!
