Congratulations Andrew and Katie

This reception with the colors of white and tiffany blue was so pretty!  The tables had white cloths with tiffany blue organza runners and white napkins.  The chairs had white satin covers with tiffany blue organza sashes.  For centerpieces, the tables had tall vases holding bunches of baby’s breath.  Tall branches with lights stuck out of the top of each centerpiece.  To give the room a candlelight glow, we had amber Uplights along the wall of windows.

Katie’s cake was perfect for the wedding colors.  It had four stacked white tiers, each accented with white designs and a tiffany blue ribbon around the bottom.  One of the tiers had the words, “I do” written on it in tiffany blue.  The cake was also accented with hand-made gum paste flowers.  It was so elegant!  We loved Andrew’s cake, as it reflected his career.  He is a pilot for a large airline, so his cake had blue skies, white puffy clouds, and a plane flying through the clouds.  It was awesome!

There were other touches at the wedding that I really liked.  There was a traditional guest book, but there was also a bible next to it.  The guests highlighted a verse in the bible and signed their names next to it.  The favor boxes were so cute: they were adorable little birdhouses filled with candy.

After an evening of friends, family and fun, the night came to a close with the Last Dance.  The newlyweds ran through a shower of bubbles and headed off to their new life together.  Congratulations Andrew and Katie, and enjoy your honeymoon cruise!

Congratulations Adam and Racheal

This wedding day, accented with colors of blue, was perfect for a venue near the ocean.  The dinner tables had white cloths with blue satin runners, and each table was topped by an elegant flowers.  Racheal’s three-tiered cake matched the colors, as it had blue ombre roses on the bottom tier and white tiers with white accents above it.  The cake topper had a groom dipping the bride.  Adam’s chocolate cake showed us what must be his hobby, as it had a monster truck running over a car while it raced around a track.

This couple had lots of cute accents for their wedding day.  They had a candy buffet done in shades of blue, personalized blue napkins, a bridal party in blue dresses, and groomsmen in blue ties.  There were also plenty of signs that guided guests through the day, from the sign that welcomed guests, to the sign on the guest book table, to the sign announcing the time of the sparkler exit.    I really liked their guest book, as it was a large frame in the shape of Texas, made out of wood and glass.  The guests signed a heart and dropped it into the frame.  Racheal and Adam can later hang it in their home.

When it came time for their exit, the newlyweds ran through a tunnel of sparklers, climbed into a horse-drawn carriage, and headed off to their new life together.  Congratulations Adam and Racheal!

Congratulations Monte and Stephanie

This New Year’s Eve wedding reception was perfect for this fun-loving bride and groom.  You know they wanted to have a great time when they made their entrance into the ballroom as guests showered them with flower petals.  Opting to keep the venue neutral, the tables had ivory floor-length linens topped by centerpieces of candles in tall glass vases.  Stephanie’s four tiered, stacked cake was gorgeous, as it had hand-made gumpaste ombre flowers.  The flowers started white on the top tier and gradually turned into a dark red on the bottom.  Monte’s cake, obviously a nod to his love of fishing, had a fish jumping out of it.  It was cool!

This group enjoyed dancing, especially to Greek music.  The guests were often on the dance floor, dancing in circles, waving napkins, and having a blast.  Greek music definitely dominated the music for this reception, and it guaranteed a great time.  When the night came to a close, we saw something we had never seen before: an indoor pyrotechnic display!  The guests gathered around the newlyweds as we counted down to midnight.  As soon as midnight hit, the pyrotechnics lit up – awesome!  To top off the night, the guests were then served a midnight breakfast food brunch.  Who doesn’t love eggs, bacon, sausage, and all that goes with it?  When it came to leave, in lieu of a formal exit, this couple opted to stay in the ballroom and say farewell to their guests.  Congratulations Monte and Stephanie!
