Congratulations Pete and Kayla

This Wedding Ceremony and Reception took place at a unique, cool venue: The Nouveau Antique Art Bar.  The bar is lit by over 100 Tiffany lamps and is perfect for those wanting something different.   The Ceremony took place on a stage in front of a large wall display of lamps and it was beautiful.

Due to the Tiffany lamps and the look of the room, there wasn't a need for much additional decor for the Reception.  Most of the wood tables were left uncovered and had white hydrangeas in vases with candles and some had ivory runners.  There were some unique touches that added to the overall feel of the day: a metal tree on which the guests would hang cards with their well-wishes to the Newlyweds, custom programs that looked like chalk writing on a blackboard, a large frame holding Pete and Kayla’s “love story” which included important dates in their relationship; and coke bottle favors with heart shaped bottle openers around the neck with tags saying, “Where there is love, there is life.”

After dinner it was time for the toast and cake cutting.  Kayla’s dad’s toast was so funny and one of her Bridesmaids did part of her toast to the theme from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.  Kayla's white three tiered stacked cake had a more vintage/casual look with the frosting lines showing and a few white hydrangeas as accents.  The custom topper had "Mr. and Mrs." with their last name on it.  Pete's chocolate cake was in the shape of the Aggie thumb with the university’s logo on it. The parents’ dances came next and then it was party time!

After plenty of fun dancing (and this group was fun!), we stopped for the bouquet and garter. Then we went back to dancing until the Last Dance.  Kayla and Pete stayed until the very end to say goodbye to their guests before they headed off to their new life together.  Congratulations Pete and Kayla!
