Congratulations George and Libby

This wedding’s colors were terra cotta and fall shades and they were so pretty!  First, Libby and George got married in front of a backdrop with ivory and rust color draping.  All the flowers were in fall colors, as were the centerpieces.  The tables had floor-length cloths topped by gold chargers, terra cotta-colored napkins and gold table numbers.  The centerpieces alternated between floating candles with submerged fall-colored berries, tall gold vases with fall flowers and ivory pumpkins with flowers.  They really did a great job incorporating their colors.

Libby’s cake not only matched the color theme for the day, but it looked amazing!  It had three, ivory stacked tiers with metallic gold frosting on the top of each and ‘dripping’ down the sides.  Each tier was accented with fall-colored flowers and the gold topper had their last name.  Of course, the cake was on a gold cake stand.  When the toasts were over, George got on the mic and told the story of how he and Libby met.  Their marriage was meant to be!

Libby and George wanted to spend the night partying and having fun, and they did! There were times when the whole dance floor was packed!  From Pop to Country, they loved it all.  Libby even changed into a short, sequined dress when it was party time: she was ready to dance!  Once the last dance was over, the newlyweds ran through a line of sparklers before heading off.  Congratulations George and Libby!

Congratulations Quinn and Kayleigh

This wedding was gorgeous!  The wedding theme was fantasy, and the colors were seafoam, teal and ivory.  The ceremony pergola had elegant ivory draping while the reception was just as beautiful.  The tables had floor length seafoam tablecloths with ivory draping for runners.  There were 3 different styles of centerpieces: tall vases with flowers and lanterns, shorter arrangements of flowers sitting on books, and medium height floral arrangements next to small birdcages holding candles. All the centerpieces had peacock feathers in them, and they matched the seafoam and teal wedding colors.  To add the final touch, we had turquoise uplights around the room. It all came together perfectly.

The three-tiered, stacked wedding cake also matched the fantasy theme and colors.  The bottom tier had soft seafoam green frosting with flowers.  The middle and top tiers matched the bottom one, but they looked like you were peering into a forest.  The Tudor Lantern & Victorian Pavilion mechanical music box cake topper was handmade by Kayleigh and Quinn and they cut the cake with a sword.

One thing I loved about this couple is that they had fun.  They laughed through the upbeat first dance song.  They laughed  through the cake cutting (and a little bit of cake smashing).  They laughed whenever they were dancing.  It was so obvious that they truly enjoyed being together.  When the reception came to a close, the newlyweds opted to not have a formal exit, but instead stayed to say goodbye to their guests.  Congratulations Quinn and Kayleigh!

Congratulations Lucas and Julie

This wedding day had the most beautiful weather we’ve had in a while: perfect for an outdoor ceremony.  The colors of this wedding were burgundy, teal, silver, and with a Star Wars theme.  The bridal party’s bouquets were of cream and burgundy flowers, with a light saber handle around the stems. The guys wore jeans, boots, and burgundy vests, except for Lucas, who wore a grey vest.  They all looked great!

To go with the wedding colors, the tables had ivory cloths topped with teal napkins. The centerpieces alternated between tall vases of cream and burgundy flowers or lanterns with candles inside. More candles surrounded the centerpieces. Add that to the chandeliers and string lights adorning the ceiling, and it was beautiful.

For the cocktail hour, the guests played Bingo. I didn’t know how it go over, but everyone had a good time. They even won Star Wars themed prizes. To match the theme, the sweetheart table had tiny Star Wars figurines at the place settings. Our photo booth was there, adding to the fun. Julie and Lucas not only brought their own Star Wars themed props, including light sabers, but they brought actual costumes! The guests loved wearing the Princess Leia wig, robes, you name it.  It was so funny!  Not only was our photo booth fun, but our dance floor lighting added to the party feel.

Did I mention the wedding cake? It had a Star Wars theme: so cool! And Lucas’ cake had a plane landing on a runway because he’s a pilot. This couple did a great job of carrying out their wedding theme and colors.  As the newlyweds left, guests waved foam glowsticks to see them off. Congratulations Lucas and Julie!
