We had fun at a July 4th pool party! Thanks to Lakewood Yacht Club for
hiring us to provide the music while the club members swam and ate a
delicious lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs. It was a hot day but
everyone had great time. We hope to see you again next year!

Congratulations Patrick and Ashley
The color for this wedding was orchid, and it was reflected
in the bridal party’s dresses and the flowers.
The guest tables were so pretty, as they had white floor-length cloths
and centerpieces consisting of mason jars in wood boxes, holding bright spring
flowers. There were favor bags of
M&Ms for guests to enjoy, and each place setting had a custom wood coaster
with Patrick and Ashley’s names and wedding date on it. There was also a candy buffet table with
coloring books and colored pencils for the kids to enjoy. On the sign-in table, there were papers where
guests could write notes to the couple.
Next to those was a custom sign of Ashley, Patrick and their dog Millie
standing in front of a castle. Guests
signed the picture and it turned out great!
The ceremony music matched the couple’s interests, as it
included songs from Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. To go with that, Patrick didn’t have a
groom’s cake, so he opted for cookies and cupcakes decorated to look like Iron
Man. Ashley’s four-tiered cake was
simple and elegant, as it had natural frosting lines and flowers accenting each
tier. During the ceremony, a groomsman brought
in the couple’s dog Millie. Millie was
great: she stayed through the whole ceremony and walked back down the aisle
with the newlyweds. She was so cute! I saw one thing at this wedding that I’ve
never seen before – canned carrots. I
don’t know the story, but it’s a running joke between Patrick and his
friends. You never know what you’ll see
at a wedding!
When the evening ended, the newlyweds shared a last dance
and said goodbye to their family and friends before heading out. Congratulations Patrick and Ashley!

Congratulations Bryant and Kassondra
Such a pretty day for such a pretty wedding! The colors of the day were rose gold, pink,
cream and white. The colors were perfect
for a spring wedding. The tables had
ivory floor-length cloths, gold chargers and rose gold napkins. The high/low centerpieces alternated between
tall gold candelabras with flowers, low cream lanterns with candles and
flowers, and low vases with floating candles and flowers. Each table also had a framed picture of
Kassondra and Bryant. The sweetheart table
had a rose gold sequined tablecloth. To
tie it all together, we had pink uplights around the room.
The four-tier white wedding cake was very elegant. It had a few pink flowers on each tier and
they also made up the topper. Bryant
must love Super Mario, as his three-tiered groom’s cake was all decorated in
Super Mario designs. It was
awesome! We also played the Super Mario
theme during the garter removal and toss.
So funny!
For a special treat, there was a candy buffet. There were also custom cookies decorated with
wedding dresses and engagement rings. When
it came to dancing, this crowd was fun!
They danced to all genres of music and our lighting packaged added to
the dancing mood. When the night came to
an end, the newlyweds said farewell to their guests before heading out. Congratulations Bryant and Kassondra and enjoy
your Bora Bora honeymoon!

Congratulations Luke and Jill
This wedding was in a beautiful historic venue, so the rain
outside didn’t affect us a bit. The
colors for the day were wine, dark blue, and silver. Jill wore an amazing gown with a beaded
bodice and long flowing train, with her bridal party wearing dresses of their
choosing, all in shades of wine. They
all carried beautiful flowers in ivory, blush and wine. Luke was handsome in a black tux and wine
tie, while the groomsmen (and one groomswoman) wire black vests and wine ties.
One big hit at the
ceremony was the dog Buster, who was the ring bearer. As soon as the officiant asked for the rings,
Luke called for Buster and he ran right up to the altar with the rings (they
were tied around his neck, along with a dog’s-eye view GoPro). At the end of the ceremony, when Jill and
Luke were declared husband and wife, Buster barked as the guests clapped. It’s like he knew exactly when to bark! I couldn’t believe it and it was hilarious!
When it came to music, this crowd had eclectic tastes. They danced to Oldies, Country, Pop, Funk,
you name it. The bouquet and garter were
a bit different, but they worked out great.
Since there weren’t many single guests, we opened the bouquet toss to
all women, and the garter toss to all men.
Everyone in the room had the chance to participate. That was fun!
When the afternoon came to a close with the last dance, the
newlyweds ran through a tunnel of friends before climbing in their car and
heading off to their new life together.
Congratulations Luke and Jill!
