Congratulations Austin and Veronica

This wedding ceremony and reception brought us to a beautiful historic venue in Galveston.  With tall stained glass windows and hard wood floors, it’s perfect for weddings.  The ceremony featured a wood altar accented with flowers draping down.  On each side of the altar were crates, flowers in vases, lanterns, and candles.  The aisle décor consisted of bottles filled with fairy lights surrounded by rose petals.  It was so pretty!  After the ceremony, the guests went to an adjoining room for the cocktail hour.  Quickly, the ballroom was ‘flipped’ for the reception.

The guest tables had ivory table cloths and featured alternating centerpieces of bottles with fairy lights (the ones that lined the ceremony aisles) and vases with flowers.  To give the room a golden, candlelight glow, we had amber uplights shining up the walls.  For a perfect wedding accent, we had our rustic 2’ LOVE marquee letters sitting on wood boxes the couple provided.

There were a lot of other details that made this wedding stand out: coloring books for the kids; mints in wrappers that had “Mint to be” written on them; gold chocolate coins with custom wrappers that said, “For richer, For poorer;” small bags that held coffee with custom packaging that said, “Let Love Brew;” customized Koozies; customized votive candle holders; a jar with cards for guests to write notes to the bride and groom, for them to read on their first wedding anniversary; and a Polaroid guest book in addition to a traditional guest book.  For a really cute accent, there were two signature drinks at the bar, and they were named after the couples’ dogs.  Wow!

Veronica’s elegant wedding cake had three, stacked white tiers accented with gold.  All the tiers featured fresh flowers and the gold topper had the couple’s last name.  Austin’s Game of Throne cake was amazing!  It was the throne chair, all in silver, with “House (the couple’s last name) written it.  It was a huge hit!

After a night of fun that went by too quickly, the newlyweds ran through a tunnel of sparklers before waving as they drove away to their new life together.  Congratulations Austin and Veronica and enjoy your Hill Country mini-moon!

Congratulations Nick and Caitlyn

This wedding reception, with the colors of navy and blush, was so pretty!  The tables had navy floor-length cloths, gold chargers and high/low centerpieces.  The low centerpieces were vases filled with ivory hydrangea, surrounded by votive candles.  The tall centerpieces were gold candelabras with ivory hydrangea and greenery, surrounded by votive candles.  It was so elegant!

Caitlyn’s three tiered white cake was so beautiful!  The frosting was smooth, with beautiful piped accents that looked like lace.  The cake had hand-made spun sugar flowers accenting the tiers.  Nick’s cake was perfect for this Aggie couple.  It had two stacked chocolate tiers and the top was decorated with the A&M logo.  (And yes, we played the Aggie War Hymn.)

When it came to dancing, this crowd liked Pop, Country, Latin, your name it.  At one point, a spontaneous Conga line broke out.  To kick up the fun, the couple passed out glow necklaces, which everyone was wearing.  At the end of the night, the newlyweds stayed to say farewell to their guests before heading out to their new life together.  Congratulations Nick and Caitlyn!

Congratulations Chase and Nicole

The weather was absolutely gorgeous for this wedding with an outdoor ceremony.  The colors for the day were champagne, ivory, gold, and greenery accents.  Nicole’s bouquet was beautiful and it was all greenery with no flowers.  She was in a soft, flowing gown with a lace overlay on the bodice.  The bridal party wore blush dresses in a variety of styles and they carried bouquets of white hydrangea and lots of greenery.  The groomsmen wore a variety of suits and shirts in navy while Chase was in a grey suit.

The reception was very elegant.  When the guests entered the ballroom, there was a wood sign with the table assignments.  The table assignments were on ivory cards clipped to string with small clothes pins.  The guest tables had floor length ivory cloths topped with vases holding ivory hydrangea and greenery.  Votive candles in gold holders surrounded the centerpieces.  Each place setting had a gold charger and an ivory napkin in a gold ring.  The three-tiered naked cake was so pretty and unique.  Each tier consisted of three layers of cake: vanilla on the top and bottom and chocolate in the middle.  The cake was accented with ivory roses and greenery.  For favors, the guests got custom green koozies with Nicole and Chase’s names on them.

The guests at this reception were fun!  They hit the dance floor and didn’t stop dancing until the reception ended.  There were some people who danced for an hour nonstop.  At many times the dancers overflowed to the carpet, and sometimes, almost everyone in the room was dancing!  When the night came to an end, Nicole and Chase stayed in the room to say farewell to their guests.  Congratulations Chase and Nicole!
