Congratulations Sean and Arielle

We loved the way this couple carried out their beach themed wedding!  The colors were blue with purple accents and our blue and purple uplights gave an ‘under the sea’ feel. For the ceremony, they had a custom backdrop with pretty, patterned ‘fish’ draping down. The aisles had blue vases holding purple flowers. Sean wore a blue suit while his groomsmen wore blue pants with beach themed shirts. The bridal party was beautiful in their light purple dresses, and they held white and blue bouquets.

The décor in the reception was perfect! The tables had either blue fish-shaped vases holding white hydrangea or low vases with the same flowers. Each centerpiece was nestled among fish nets, bottles with sand, candles, and seashells. The sweetheart, cake, and sign in tables all had the same décor. Even the buffet tables featured beach-themed accents. They did a great job!

In lieu of a traditional wedding cake, Arielle and Sean provided individual strawberry shortcakes for the guests.  For the cake cutting, the couple had one small cake tier. It had a custom blue topper with their last name and two kissing fish. Cute! To add to the party, we had our dance floor lights on the dance floor. If people weren’t dancing, they were having fun in our photobooth. The backdrop was blue sequin, and the photo strips had a blue ocean design on them.

After the last dance, the couple ran through a tunnel of bubbles and headed off to their wedding night hotel room. Congratulations Sean and Arielle!

Congratulations Joseph and Kelci

This wedding couldn’t have been more fun and the newlyweds and their guests couldn’t have been nicer.  What a great night!  The wedding colors were navy, white and gold and it was so elegant.  One amazing fact is that the groom made all the paper items including menu cards, table numbers, the wine and cocktail list, the welcome sign, the table assignment sign, the ceremony program, you name it.  And they were all beautifully done!

This couple loves Disney, so they had a mini Mickey and Minnie Mouse as their cake topper.  They made their entrance into the ballroom to a song from the movie UP.  And for a guest ‘book’, the guests wrote letters to the couple and put them in a mailbox, decorated like the mailbox in Up.

This group was awesome!  They danced from the first song to the last.  And, they waved LED glow wands in the air as they danced.  When the night came to a close, the couple headed out through lines of
waving glow wands, got in their car, and made their exit.  Congratulations Kelci and Joseph and enjoy your upcoming honeymoon to Disneyland!

Congratulations Kenny and Lauren

This summer wedding reception was so pretty with the colors of coral and white.  The tables had high/low centerpieces of tall candelabras or low floral arrangements, and coral napkins topped the gold chargers. The room was perfect! When it came time to dance, we kicked it off with The Grand March.  It was 15 minutes long and set a record for us as our longest Grand March ever!  This bride and groom wanted an all-out party and they got it! Ferdy mixed pop, EDM and House music for the last two hours and the dance floor was full the whole time. We had our photo booth running to amp up the fun and Whataburger was delivered for a late night snack.  It was a great time for everyone! Congratulations Kenny and Lauren!

Congratulations Ricky and Jessica

This fun-loving couple picked the perfect venue for their wedding, a brewing company!  To tie-in with the brewery’s wood decor, the couple had wood lanterns, a wood base for their cake and wood slices under the floral centerpieces. When it came to dancing, you always knew where to find Jessica; on the dance floor.  This couple’s friends and family were as much fun as they were, and you could see it in our photo booth pictures. Some of them are hilarious! After a great wedding, the newlyweds ran through sparklers and headed off. Congratulations Jessica and Ricky!

Congratulations Alex and Kristin

What a fun and interesting wedding day for this beach loving couple! They got married on the Tall Ship Elissa and the reception followed on the pier.  With the beautiful ship being the backdrop, minimal decorations were required. The ivory tablecloths, blush napkins and sage green bridesmaid’s dresses were all that was necessary for the location.  Of course, the three-tiered delicious cake had ivory and blush pink floral accents.

One unique aspect of the day was the acoustic guitar music, played by Dave Fenley.  You may have seen him on season 15 of The Voice or season 8 of America’s Got Talent.  Alex and Kristin met at one of Dave’s shows, so they flew him out to their wedding to perform the ceremony music and the first dance.  Later, Dave and Ferdy took turns between Dave playing music live and Ferdy playing recorded.  That was new to us and was such fun!  We found Dave to be humble, kind, and an all-around great guy.  Later in the evening, a 45-minute downpour sent everyone running for cover and ended the reception early, but Kristin and Alex still had the best time of their lives.  Congratulations Alex and Kristin!

Congratulations Jacob and Amanda

It was a beautiful day for Amanda and Jacob’s wedding reception at the historic Garten Verein.  For a clean, pretty look, the tables had white floor-length tablecloths with centerpieces of candles atop greenery.  The wedding colors were teal with gold accents, so the bridal party wore floor-length teal gowns while the groomsmen were in tan tuxedos.  The delicious 3-tiered wedding cake was white with pink and cream flower accents and it had gold ribbon running around the bottom of each tier.  There was a Grand March which was so large that they had to take it outside before coming back into the ballroom’s dance floor.  What a fun crowd!  After a night of fun, the newlyweds had a private last dance before running through a tunnel of waving glowsticks.  Congratulations Jacob and Amanda!

Congratulations Reagan and Melissa

We had such fun with this couple! From the Millennium Falcon guest book to Reagan’s light saber bouquet handle to their entrance and exit through a tunnel of wedding party members holding lit-up light sabers, Melissa and Reagan made sure everything reflected their interests. To the Moon and Back was a phrase the couple shared, so they had a moon-shaped photo booth backdrop and cake topper.  The centerpieces held beautiful blue glass stars with candles inside and each table had a name of a planet.  Their sweetheart table, of course, was the Moon table.

Were Reagan and Melissa content with a traditional wedding cake?  Of course not!  The main wedding cake was actually cheesecake, and their second cake was a display of doughnuts.  Yum!!  To top that, there was a candy table for guests to enjoy. People tend to think smaller weddings mean no dancing, but that was not true with this group!  There was fun dancing all night long.  When the newlyweds made their exit, they headed off in a horse-drawn carriage.  Congratulations to Melissa and Reagan!

Congratulations Rob and Kelly

This fun-loving couple opted for a Mardi Gras theme for their wedding and I loved it!  From the wedding colors of purple and green to Mardi Gras themed Covid mask favors, they thought of it all.  Around the Mardi Gras themed centerpieces, there were gold and purple favor boxes filled with candy.  To tie in with the theme, Kelly’s three tiered wedding cake had a Mardi Gras mask as the topper.  Of course, the groom’s cake was a king
cake, and it was topped by a Mardi Gras mask and beads.  Our photo booth was a hit and the guests enjoyed our custom-made Mardi Gras themed signs.

One of the highlights of the evening was Kelly’s father’s toast.  It was a poem he wrote and it was so funny: everyone loved it!  Instead of a formal exit at the end of the night, this couple opted to stay, keep dancing and say goodbye to their guests.  Everyone had a great time and we wish our best to the newlyweds.  Congratulations Rob and Kelly!

Congratulations Kyle and Emma

This wedding reception, with the colors of blue, was beautiful!  The tables alternated between three different centerpieces, all with white and blue flowers or candles. The table runners and napkins were all in blue to match.  I loved Emma’s dress.  It was all white satin with no embellishments: it was elegant and gorgeous, with a beautiful bustle.  Her bridal party wore floor-length blue dresses and they all carried white and blue floral bouquets.

When it was dance time, the guests were on the dance floor from the first song to the last.  What a great crowd!  At one point, they had Kyle in a chair and lifted him up in the air.  To add to the party atmosphere, our photo booth always had people in it, taking fun photos.  For a unique touch, there was a phone guest book.  Guests picked up the older desk phone and talked into it, leaving a message for Emma and Kyle.  The phone recorded the messages and they will then be put on a record for the newlyweds to keep.  I’ve never seen that before and I loved it!

The guests enjoyed Emma’s four-tiered, delicious, white cake, accented with white and blue flowers.  Kyle’s Fantasy Football cake looked like a football field and it was a hit as well.  After a romantic, private last dance, this sweet pair headed off to their new life as a married couple.  Congratulations Kyle and Emma!
