This reception with an Argentine flair was so much fun and
had some unique touches. Upon entering the reception, guests signed the guest
book which was actually a matted record of the couple’s first dance waltz song.
After the cocktail hour, with English and Argentine music, guests enjoyed a
seated dinner. Following dinner and the toasts, the newlyweds cut the cake. The
three tiered, stacked, white cake was embellished with flowers and had icing leaf
designs that matched the embroidery on Kimi’s gorgeous dress. We then did a
Photo Dash to send guests to the dance area.
I must mention that the venue still had the original fire pole that was used by
the fire fighters and guests got to slide down the fire pole! Also, there was a
delicious dessert table holding an assortment of desserts made by friends and
family members. Everyone loved them too!
Dancing started with the first dance, which was a traditional Argentine waltz.
The couple descended the stairs and began dancing together, before their
parents joined them. Kimi and Gonzalo danced a beautiful waltz, one of the best
we’ve ever seen. When the guests began dancing, it was non-stop until the end!
They were singing along, waving LED foam wants, wearing LED accessories, even
joining in a spontaneous Conga line. It was a great time! When the newlyweds
made their exit, they went through a line of guests blowing kazoos and bubbles.
Congratulations Gonzalo and Kimi and enjoy your honeymoon cruise!
