Congratulations K.C. and Whitney

This cocktail-style Wedding Reception was an elegant affair in a beautiful historic Bed and Breakfast.  The colors for the wedding were royal and blue and ivory and they were reflected in the ivory table cloths, royal runners and the royal ties on the chiavari chairs.  The tables had centerpieces of ivory and blue flowers and the candy buffet matched the wedding day colors with its white and blue candy.

After enjoying their heavy appetizers meal, Whitney and K.C. cut their cakes.  Whitney’s cake had three stacked ivory tiers with ivory flowers on each tier.  K.C.’s groom’s red velvet cake was decorated to match his love of duck hunting.  The special dances came next before we opened the dance floor with the Aggie War Hymn.  When the Last Dance was over and the evening came to a close, the Newlyweds exited through a shower of bubbles and drove off in a horse-drawn white carriage.  Congratulations K.C. and Whitney!

Happy Birthday Corrie

This Mardi Gras/New Orleans/Masquerade themed seventeenth birthday party was so much fun!  It was a combination birthday party, quinceanera and sweet sixteen all rolled into one.  The room was decorated with shades of green and purple, and we had purple Uplights to tie it all together.  The tables matched the theme, as they were named after different streets in New Orleans.  The centerpieces had purple flowers accented with tall peacock feathers and the favors were salt water taffy from La Kings in green and purple bags.  The guests were each given elaborate hand-made masquerade masks to wear.

Corrie had on a gorgeous purple ball gown with pickups and an embellished bodice.  When she made her entrance into the party, she was led in by her parents, two dancing jesters and two young girls throwing confetti.  After her entrance, she stayed on the dance floor, where her father changed her Converse to high heeled shoes.  Corrie then gave two of her dolls to younger cousins, to signify her becoming an adult.  Next came the seventeen candles ceremony, where she spoke special words to different people as they lit candles.

Following dinner Corrie shared a special dance with her father before the dance floor was open to everyone.  Later, guests were treated to an amazing variety of fun assorted desserts.  They were served grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup shooters, different flavors of popcorn, milk and cookies and colored rock candy.  After a great night of fun and dancing and Corrie’s dad busting out with some break dancing moves, everyone joined in the Last Dance before they said their farewells.  Congratulations and Happy Birthday to Corrie!

Congratulations Al and Carole

This fun-loving couple wanted a beachy, casual feel to their wedding day and it was perfect!  The Ceremony was outside, with a wall of water and palm trees for the backdrop.  Carole wore a light, flowing white dress and Al wore white pants with a white short-sleeved shirt.  At the end of the Ceremony, guests blew bubbles as the Newlyweds walked back down the aisle to One Love by Bob Marley.

The Reception was perfect for the theme as well, with the tables having white cloths with blue runners.  The tables in the dance area had seashells scattered around the candles.  Carole’s cake matched the beach theme also, with its three white stacked tiers with edible seashell and coral accents on each.  The topper was also edible seashells and coral.  Al’s chocolate cake reflected his love of golf, as it was decorated to look like a golf course.

After a night of all ages having a blast on the dance floor, the night came to an end.  The Newlyweds joined in the Last Dance before saying farewell to their guests and heading off to their honeymoon night.  Congratulations Al and Carole!

Congratulations Tim and Amanda

This wedding reception with the colors of navy and gold was so beautiful!  The tables had ivory floor length table cloths with navy pin tuck overlays.  They were topped with gold chargers and centerpieces of tall candelabras with flowers or shorter vases with flowers.  Amanda’s cake matched the colors, as it had three white stacked tiers accented with navy flowers.  Tim’s red velvet cake reflected his alma mater with the Texas A&M logo on the top.

There were a few unique touches at this wedding that tied everything together.  Since Amanda is a commander in the Navy (wow!), she had her garter custom-made to match her rank.  For the sign-in book, the couple had a large initial of their last name painted in navy that the guests signed in gold.  For favors, each guest received a coffee mug with the couple’s names on it in blue.

After an amazing First Dance tango, a fun night of dancing, guests enjoying themselves in our photo booth, and an Anniversary Dance showing that the longest married couple in the room had been married 50 years, the evening came to a close.  Amanda and Tim ran through bubbles, climbed into a limousine and headed off to their new life together.  Congratulations Tim and Amanda!
