Congratulations Marcus and Kim

This wedding Reception, featuring the colors of royal blue and silver, was so pretty.  The tables had white floor length linens with silver pin tuck toppers.  The chairs had white satin covers with royal blue ties.  The high/low centerpieces alternated between three styles, all featuring white and blue hydrangeas and white roses.  Of course, each was surrounded by candles.  To add to the candlelight feel of the room, we had amber Uplights along the walls giving off a golden glow.

Kim’s white cake was very elegant, with its three stacked tiers accented with blue and silver flowers.  There were swags draping around each tier and a custom cake topper with the couple’s last name.  Marcus’ strawberry cake had two stacked tiers, each dripping with chocolate ganache.  There were a few special touches at this Reception that we really liked.  The custom made favors were something we hadn’t seen before: they were artificial flower petals with Jordan almonds in the petals.  How they got the almonds inside the petals, I’ll never know, but they favors were very pretty.  There was also a cool ‘guest book.’  It was a large, two-layered wood and glass frame in the shape of Texas.  Guests signed their names on small wood hearts and then dropped them in the frame.  After the wedding, the couple will hang the framed hearts in their home.

After a great night of dancing and visiting with their guests, the night came to a close with the Last Dance.  Instead of doing a formal exit, the Newlyweds chose to stay and wish their guests farewell before leaving.  Congratulations Marcus and Kim!

Congratulations James and Amber

This Wedding Reception with the theme of Alice in Wonderland was awesome!  The colors for the day were marine blue and sunshine yellow, and they tied in with the theme perfectly.  The tables had blue satin floor-length cloths and the chairs had white satin covers with blue ties.  The centerpieces consisted of a variety of styles to match the Alice in Wonderland theme.  They had piled up books, tea pots, flower pots, small mushrooms, playing cards, rabbits, keys, you name it.  To top it off, all the centerpieces were accented with candles and yellow flowers.  For the final touch, we had blue uplights highlighting the walls of the room

The cakes were the perfect accent for the theme as well.  Amber’s cake was a tower of assorted cupcakes, all decorated in blue or yellow.  Some of the cupcakes had a little “eat me” sign stuck in them.  The top tier had the cutest cake topper: it was a miniature sculpture of James and Amber with their dogs.  James’ rectangular cake had the Chesire cat on top.  For other fun Alice in Wonderland themed items, there was a selfie station with life-size cardboard cutouts of Alice and the Mad Hatter as well as plenty of hats, sunglasses, clocks, and other props.  The favors fit in with the colors and theme too:  there were customized decks of cards and blue and yellow Koozies.  This couple did a fantastic job tying everything in with their theme!

After a great night of fun and dancing, this Alice in Wonderland themed Reception came to a close with the last dance.  The Newlyweds then ran through a shower of bubbles before heading off in a vintage Bentley.  Congratulations James and Amber!

Congratulations Jon and Alesha

This Wedding Reception had a beach theme, and the seaside venue was perfect for it.  The tables all had white cloths and the centerpieces were either white lanterns or candles.  The white wood chairs tied in with the beach theme as well.  The three-tiered white cake matched, with the topper saying, “You and Me, Married by the Sea.”  For accents, the cake had ribbons at the bottom of the top and bottom tier, a bling ribbon around the middle tier, and spun sugar flower accents.  The favors also had a beach/sand feel, as they were in small burlap bags tied with personalized ribbon.  For the final perfect small touch, Alesha had a starfish comb in her hair.  After an evening of great food, cake, drinks and dancing, the night came to an end with the last dance.  The Newlyweds opted to forgo a formal exit, and instead, wished all their guests farewell.  Congratulations Jon and Alesha!
